We Are On The Verge Of A Leap
Written and transcribed by Terry Grant

This is a continuation of a message I have transcribed and edited from a talk Ishvara gave on February 21, 2006. - TG.

Ishvara:

I expect the physical body to become lighter, not necessarily in the way of less weight, but in the way of more light. However, you have to take the initiative. The consequence of taking the initiative is that the body changes. It will be different for everybody. I don't want to create expectations, because expectations tend to be followed by disappointment.

My feeling-knowing is that we are on the verge of a leap. The tendency in the consensus world is for people to sit around and get old. A real leap could involve a group of supposedly older people who have suddenly turned it around so that others say, "Wow, they are energetic, they are alive, they are like twenty-five year olds."

People get old in the consensus world, but that is not the new species. The new species of humanity is vibrant, alive, and ready to take on the next step.

You cannot be dependent on me in this, because I am you. I am just a few steps ahead of you, showing you the way you can be. I am the example of what you can be. I can inspire you to be all you can be, but you really cannot be dependent on me.

You need to do the things you know to do. Otherwise you slip into magical thinking: "Ishvara will make it happen." It doesn't work that way. It COULD work that way IF you were totally surrendered, totally allowing, and totally knowing what this is. Then it can happen, because there need be no effort. Effort is a trait of human nature. Humans believe effort is necessary to attain greater awareness. Actually, the ultimate is allowing, realizing connection, and letting things happen.

Everyone of you has to do the work. You have to do what you know to do. This means that you deliberately step out of your old self, step out of the past, step out of your conditioning, step out of your programs and addictions, and begin to prove to yourself that you are worth it, that you are worth what it takes to accomplish those steps. The ball is in your court.

You may have lost your "first love." Your first love was the first direct experience you had of me, where you really saw IT. If you lose that, then you have to get it back. That is the turning point in your life. Whatever was happening in your life when you saw IT, that is the turning point in your life to which you cannot cling, but which you do not want to lose either. It works differently for each individual.

There is so much in the consensus world that is manipulative and controlling, so many "shoulds" and "shouldn'ts", rules and regulations, systems, structures, beliefs and concepts that dilute the experience. So you let go of those things, and you realize that whatever you fear will overtake you. If you fear giving your power to me, that fear will overtake you. If you fear being controlled, it will overtake you.

It becomes a separating process where your fears are manifest, and you project them onto everything around you. I see so much projection occurring in the world. People are projecting everything onto everything else. That is human nature: people project, and that relieves them of responsibility.

Yet when you are determined to take responsibility for your life, including responsibility for your actions, reactions and emotions, a real turnaround occurs. The body begins to wake up and experiences its power in this. Then you can use me in an inspiring way, a way that encourages you to take the next step, to keep being all you can be and stop living beneath your potential.
